Technicon recognize the importance of Health , safety and Environmental
(HSE) issue and id committed to establishing and implementing the HSE plan and
procedures as outlined in Technicon manual .This commitment to HSE matters is
highlighted by Technicon policy statements.
The propose and scope of the HSE plan is a plan of action how
Technicon and it’s subcontractorsintend to address HSE matters during the
execution of scope of work.
Technicon and it’s subcontractors will ensure that the HSE plan for
each specific phase of work is disseminated and applicable section understood by
all Technicon and subcontractor’s employees. This will be achieved by training
and education and other communication means, such as meeting, toolbox meeting,
circular, posters, etc.
Monitoring of performance will be done via inspections land audits .
The measurements and reports from the monitoring activities will be used to
measure variations. Identify trends and modify systems to enhance achieving
Technicon target of zero accident rate on this project.
This HSE plane will serve as an “umbrella “ plane and be the focal
point of all HSE activities on the projects.
Objective of Technicon and it’s subcontractors are dedicated to
the concept that all accidents / incidents are preventable. Accordingly
Technicon its subcontractors are committed to achieving this objective through
continues improvement of HSE plan.
The following main HSE objectives have been identified:
• To provide a safe, environmentally friendly consistent with
industry standards.
• To promote attitude of personal awareness of safe
working practices amongst all personnel
working on the project.
• To achieve and sustain “ zero
fatal accident , zero lost time / injury “ targets
through continues improvement of the safety system.
• To promote co-ordination and
integration of all HSE plane and programs of
Technicon and its subcontractors to achieve
and interfaces throughout the duration of the projects.
